DESCRIPTION

The Christian Life International Film Festival is a festival that touches and teaches the audience with meaningful productions.

A film festival of clean and meaningful films.
The main criteria of selection are simple:
clean, beautiful, fun and with great message.

It is NOT mandatory to be religious or mention anything about God or Jesus.
We encourage a lot comedy and uplifting productions, but we are open to all the genres.

Our audience loves to laugh and have their spirit lifted up.

SUBMISSIONS

PLEASE READ THE RULES SECTION ENTIRELY BEFORE SUBMITTING

When you submit your film, fill up ALL the info required by the form.

  • contact info and mailing address [for awards shipping]
  • fill up the running time of your film the right way
  • add a poster to your submission

Failing to do so leads to immediate disqualification of your production.

 
ATTENDING THE FESTIVAL

Attendance is not mandatory.

If you are part of the screening films cast and crew, it will be a pleasure to have you with us. It’s a great opportunity for networking and future collaborations.

There is FREE admission for cast and crew of the accepted films.

We are working on accommodations deals so more filmmakers can attend and enjoy the event.

CLARIFICATION ON TERM "CLEAN PRODUCTION":

A film that doesn’t include foul language [even subtitles], gory scenes, excessive violence, hate message or nudity.

      If you have productions that have these kinds of elements and you’re able to send a clean version with a week prior Festival Date, if you’re accepted, we’ll screen that version.

Submission Guidelines:
The following guidelines govern submissions for the Christian Life International Film Festival.
Please read these guidelines carefully and follow all directions for submission.

1. General guidelines for all films:
1.1 We accept only finished productions rated G or PG.
1.2 Submit in the right categories or your production will be disqualified.

2. Content:
The main criteria of selection is simple:
clean, beautiful, fun and with great message.
It is NOT mandatory to be religious or mention anything about God or Jesus, but to teach and touch the audience.

3. Immediate disqualification
3.1 If the production was submitted in the wrong category
3.2 If the production includes any of the following:
– foul language [even subtitles]
– gory scenes
– excessive violence
– hate message
– nudity
[unless modified versions of the film can be submitted]

4. Eligibility Requirements:
By acceptance of these rules and submission to our festival, the entrant certifies that he/she has sole legal authority to enter into this agreement and agrees for the production and the media kit to be used by the festival and affiliate entities for marketing purposes.

Employees and board members are allowed to submit their productions for screening but not allowed to enter the competition.

5. Format Requirements:
Because the screening will use digital equipment, we accept digital formats for previews and as a final cut.

We accept:
SD [Standard Digital] and HD [High Definition]
mp4 – 6,000 Kbps [not mandatory but suggested]
Other file types: MOV, MPG, WMV, AVI

All foreign productions need to have MANDATORY English subtitles.

We don’t accept the productions in physical form like DVDs.

6. There has to be a minimum of 10 accepted productions in one category for that category to qualify for awards.

7. Due to being a competition,
OUR FESTIVAL DOES NOT ISSUE WAIVERS.
All the messages received regarding waivers will be disregarded.
